Samna Launcher on Android will have a different way of accessing device-settings. Estimated Q3 2024

After registering your Samna Meet tablet, you can customize its settings to match your preferences and the specific requirements of your meeting room.
Screen Orientation:
Note: Screen orientation should be automatic by default. If you have turned it off, follow the steps below to manually select orientation.
Access Settings: Swipe down from the top of the screen to open the notification panel. Tap on the gear icon to access the device settings.
Display Settings: In the settings menu, locate and tap on the "Display" option.
Screen Orientation: Tap on "Screen orientation" or a similar option. You will typically have two choices:
Portrait: The screen is oriented vertically.
Landscape: The screen is oriented horizontally.
Choose Orientation: Select the orientation that best suits your meeting room setup and usage.
Brightness and Sleep Settings:
Access Settings: Open the device settings as described above.
Display Settings: Tap on "Display" again.
Brightness: Adjust the brightness level by dragging the slider to your desired level. Consider the ambient lighting in your meeting room for optimal visibility.
Sleep: Tap on "Sleep" or "Screen timeout." Choose how long the screen should stay on before automatically turning off to conserve power.
Language and Regional Settings:
Access Settings: Open the device settings.
System: Find and tap on the "System" option.
Languages & input: Tap on "Languages & input" or a similar option.
Languages:
To add a language, tap on "Add a language" and select the desired language from the list.
To change the default language, press and hold the language you want to move to the top of the list.
Region:
Tap on "Region" and select your country or region from the list. This will adjust the date and time formats, as well as other regional settings.
Customizing the Welcome Screen and Idle Display:
Access Samna Settings: Go to .
Devices: Find the device hosting your room.
Display Settings: Locate the "Theme" or "Customization" section.
Welcome Screen: Choose a background image, add your company logo, or select a custom message to display when the tablet is not actively being used for bookings.
Idle Display: Customize the information shown when the tablet is idle. Options might include:
Room name
Current availability status (Free/Busy)
Upcoming bookings
Custom messages or announcements
By customizing these settings, you can ensure that your Samna Meet tablet seamlessly integrates into your meeting room environment and provides a user-friendly experience for everyone.
