Information Bar Content

The Information Bar in Samna Area is a powerful tool for communicating important information, news, and updates to your employees and visitors. This section will guide you through managing and customizing the content displayed on the Information Bar.

Types of Content

Samna Area supports a variety of content types for the Information Bar:
Announcements: Share company news, upcoming events, or important alerts. You can format announcements with text, images, and links.
Weekly Menu (Optional): Display the current week's cafeteria or canteen menu, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner options.
Upcoming Events (Optional): Showcase upcoming events like workshops, conferences, or social gatherings happening in your workspace.
Custom Content: Create your own content using text, images, videos, or embedded web pages. This allows you to tailor the Information Bar to your specific needs and share any relevant information.

Future Widgets

In the future, Samna Area will introduce the ability to add widgets to the Information Bar, offering a wider range of dynamic content options, including:
News: Display headlines and summaries from popular news sources or your company's internal news feed.
Weather: Show current weather conditions, forecasts, and alerts for your location.
Social Media Feeds: Integrate feeds from your company's social media channels (Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.) to share updates and engage your audience.

Managing Information Bar Content

Access Samna Portal: Log in to the Samna Portal as an admin user.
Content Management Section: Navigate to the "Content" or "Information Bar" section within the portal.
Create or Edit Content: Click on the "+" button or select an existing item to edit.
Configure Content:
Type: Choose the content type (announcement, menu, event, custom content).
Title (Optional): Add a title to your content item.
Content: Enter the text, upload images or videos, or embed web pages.
Scheduling (Optional): Set a start and end date/time for when the content should be displayed.
Save and Publish: Save your changes and publish the content to make it appear on the Information Bar.

Keep it Concise: Limit the amount of text in each content item to ensure readability on the Information Bar.
Use High-Quality Images: Use visually appealing images to grab attention and enhance the display.
Update Regularly: Keep your content fresh and up-to-date to maintain engagement.
