Samna Area's interactive map provides an intuitive way to navigate your workspace, with real-time updates on meeting room availability. Here's how you can use it to find your way around:
Accessing the Map:
Touchscreen: If you're using a touchscreen device, simply tap on the Samna Area screen to launch the application. The map should be displayed prominently.
Web Browser: If you're accessing Samna Area through a web browser, navigate to the appropriate URL or page where the map is embedded.
Kiosk: If your organization has set up a dedicated Samna Area kiosk, the map will be displayed on the screen.
Exploring the Map:
Pan and Zoom: Use your fingers to pan (drag) the map around the screen. Pinch your fingers together to zoom out or spread them apart to zoom in.
Interactive Elements:
Tap on meeting rooms or points of interest (POIs) to view more information about them (e.g., name, capacity, amenities).
Tap on wayfinding paths to see step-by-step directions to a specific location.
If integrated with Samna Meet, you may be able to tap on a meeting room to view its availability and book it.
Search: Use the search bar to quickly find a specific room or POI.
Dynamic Display: The map dynamically updates to show the real-time availability of each meeting room. You'll see visual indicators (e.g., colors or icons) directly on the map to easily identify which rooms are free, busy, or reserved. Additionally, you can view a schedule of all meetings for the entire day for each room.
Getting Directions
Search: Enter your destination (e.g., "Conference Room A") in the search bar and tap on the result.
Select Starting Point: If you're not already at the starting point of the directions, tap on the "Set Starting Point" button and choose your current location on the map.
View Directions: Samna Area will display step-by-step directions to your destination, including text instructions and visual cues on the map.
Follow the Route: Follow the directions on the map or on your mobile device (if wayfinding is enabled) to reach your destination.
Additional Tips:
Orientation: The map may have an orientation indicator (e.g., a compass icon) to help you align yourself with the real-world directions.
Floor Levels: If your workspace has multiple floors, use the floor level selector to switch between different floor plans.
Accessibility: Look for accessibility icons on the map to find wheelchair-accessible routes and entrances.
